Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Manufacturing Production Scheduler to coordinate scheduling of production, processing, assembly, and packaging activities across lines. You will plan resources, assign work to centers, and respond to changes in backlog, downtime, or material shortages.

The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures, with a background of at least a high school education and four years related experience.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating production scheduling and resource allocation.
• Understanding of production processes and workflows.
• Ability to make informed decisions under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process.
• Select and sequence available resources for individual work centers or lines.
• Implement scheduling changes due to backlogs, design changes, machine downtime or material/labor shortages.
• Work with limited supervision and follow established procedures to ensure efficiency.
• Communicate with other departments and external organizations to obtain or provide information.
