Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sales Manager to grow and maintain customer relationships within the metal fabrication and manufacturing industry. The role is hybrid, based in the United States with on-site collaboration from Wichita, KS and Ponca City, OK offices.

You will lead account management, business development, and technical sales to drive revenue, generate quotes, and support negotiations, while coordinating with engineering and production teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, account management, business development, or a related customer-facing role.
• Background in metal fabrication, machining, manufacturing, or industrial products.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand technical manufacturing processes and recommend solutions.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand existing customer accounts while pursuing new business opportunities.
• Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact.
• Generate quotes, support contract negotiations, and close sales opportunities.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Track sales activity and pipeline using CRM tools.
• Conduct prospecting and cold-calling to identify and qualify new customers.
• Provide ongoing customer support to drive retention and repeat business.
