Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Sales Coordinator to serve as the frontline liaison for Territory Managers and Customers. This hybrid role combines remote work with monthly onsite attendance at a local distribution center, within a 50-mile radius.

You will manage orders, resolve questions, and upsell products using US Foods systems. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams, promoting online ordering, and supporting sales goals through proactive communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least three years of customer service experience; food service distribution a plus.
• Working knowledge of CRM tools, especially Salesforce, a plus.
• Strong verbal communication and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to influence customers and manage multiple issues simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Take actions to deliver results by building relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Contact customers for orders and upsell opportunities; process orders and guidance.
• Promote engagement with USFoods.com for orders and value-added services.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to support customers and drive sales.
• Respond to questions promptly; escalate to appropriate teams as needed.
• Use US Foods systems (Edge, EPS, Salesforce, CRM tools) to provide accurate info.
• Attend meetings and trainings; provide administrative support to managers.
• Cover vacations and weekend inbound calls as needed.
