Job summary

US Foods in Columbia, SC is hiring a Sales Coordinator. This role is hybrid: about 90% remote and 10% onsite, with residence within 50 miles of a distribution center. Remote work mostly, with occasional onsite for training or meetings.

You will be the first contact for Territory Managers and Customers, handling orders, resolving questions, and supporting sales with CRM tools like Salesforce. You will coordinate with Operations, Credit, and Transportation, and help manage credits, special orders,

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience; food service distribution a plus.
• Working knowledge of CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.com.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from customers and Territory Managers, resolving inquiries promptly.
• Provide administrative support to Territory Managers and Sales Management.
• Coordinate with Operations, Credit & Transportation; escalate as needed.
• Promote orders via US Foods Online and assist with upsell opportunities.
• Maintain accuracy of price information and respond to product inquiries.
