The position requires conducting inspections, delivering training, investigating incidents, and overseeing corrective actions, with up to 60% travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressive safety experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience conducting inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Experience delivering safety training to employees, supervisors, and leaders.
• Experience investigating injuries, incidents, property damage, spills, and near misses.
• Ability to interpret occupational safety regulations and apply company requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 60% and collaborate across facilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and improve safety programs across facilities.
• Partner with leaders to embed safe work practices in operations.
• Conduct routine inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Monitor regulatory developments and update programs and training as needed.
• Develop and deliver safety training for staff and leaders.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance timelines.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Lead investigations and apply root-cause analysis to incidents.
• Develop corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Promote a culture of safety and open reporting.
• Travel among locations up to 60% to provide hands-on support.
