Job summary

WEG Transformers USA is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, Safety & ESG Manager to develop and manage comprehensive EHS and sustainability programs across the site. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive operational excellence, and promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Lead investigations, coordinate training, manage incident responses, and collaborate with leadership to advance ESG reporting and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment.
• Three years of applied Labor Relations experience.
• Experience managing regulatory compliance, safety programs, incident investigations, environmental compliance, and organizational safety initiatives.
• Preferred certifications: CSP/ASP/CIH/REP and OSHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve EHS, environmental, and sustainability programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and other regulations.
• Manage environmental programs: hazardous waste, emissions, wastewater, chemical management, spill prevention.
• Lead safety committees, inspections, audits, risk assessments, and hazard reduction initiatives.
• Support ESG reporting and environmental performance improvements.
• Administer safety programs: LOTO, machine guarding, Fall Protection, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, and EMI procedures.
• Lead investigations of injuries, illnesses, near misses, and incidents; implement corrective actions.
• Manage workers' compensation, industrial hygiene, occupational health, and medical surveillance programs.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and emergency drills.
