Job summary

ESFM is seeking a Safety Manufacturing Manager to reduce claims and lost-time injuries by providing safety and workers' comp support across local units. Responsibilities include training, site visits, policy implementation, and performance measurement, through meetings, calls, and on-site visits.

The role emphasizes safety program development, incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with client requirements, OSHA standards, and company policies. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience implementing occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations and evaluations and assess cost/risk factors; interpret/apply safety laws and regulations.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Travel up to 40% when required.
• Collaborate well with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 40% as required.
• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA and other standards through inspections.
• Maintain ongoing safety awareness programs to promote a safe workplace.
• Support client safety and workers' compensation procedures.
• Assist in development and administration of loss prevention programs.
• Provide safety training to managers and teams.
• Deliver monthly status reports to local management.
• Follow OSHA, DOT, EPA regulations and client policies.
