Job summary

International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Richmond, VA is seeking an Economic Empowerment Coordinator to support the delivery of Financial Capabilities, Benefits Navigation, VITA, and Digital Skills 4 All programs. Hybrid work arrangement with the IRC team and volunteers is required.

The role involves coordinating AmeriCorps members, managing documentation, and ensuring quality service delivery under supervision.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in workforce development, refugee resettlement, or related social service delivery.
• Experience guiding or supporting team members.
• Commitment to IRC values: service, accountability, integrity, equality; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Program management and coordination across economic empowerment services.
• Track caseload assignments and monitor service delivery for quality client support.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Coordinate onboarding and training of new team members and volunteers.
• Document program activities and assist with quality assurance reviews.
• Support community outreach and partnerships to expand services for participants.
• Assist in data collection, reporting, and program evaluation.
