Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an Economic Empowerment Coordinator to support Financial Capabilities, Benefits Navigation, VITA, and Digital Skills 4 All programs. You will coordinate day-to-day activities, assist with documentation and compliance, and guide AmeriCorps members and volunteers on defined tasks under supervision.

Qualifications include a university degree preferred (Social Work, Human Services or related field) or equivalent experience, at least 2 years in

Qualifications

• University degree preferred, ideally in Social Work, Human Services, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in workforce development, refugee resettlement, or related social service delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; ability to work with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the service delivery area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate AmeriCorps members and volunteers on defined assignments.
• Support scheduling, documentation, and quality assurance across program areas.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and orientation of new team members.
• Prepare program documentation and reports for IRC and funders.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure client-centered service delivery across programs.
