Job summary

Peaks Renewables, a growing RNG platform and a subsidiary of Summit Utilities, Inc., is seeking a Commercial Operations Associate I. The role spans multi-disciplinary commercial operations, from forecasting and KPI dashboards to strategy development and cross-functional project execution.

You will work with senior leaders to build models, deliver monthly reviews, and drive efficiency across the portfolio, including integration of acquired assets and ERP initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or engineering is required.
• At least four years’ experience in management consulting, investment banking, commercial operations, or related finance fields.
• Experience in RNG, renewable fuels, environmental commodities, or energy markets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operating models for portfolio projects and KPI dashboards.
• Run monthly operating and financial reviews and prepare leadership materials.
• Oversee analysts handling environmental credit monetization and revenue compliance.
• Support market analyses, business cases, and scenario analyses for growth.
• Support bolt-on project development (CO2, fertilizers) and offtake strategy development.
• Assist with ERP implementation and integration of acquisitions into the portfolio.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams and mentor junior team members.
• Coordinate and review deliverables across commercial and operational functions.
