Job summary

Peaks Renewables seeks a Commercial Operations Associate I to drive financial modeling, KPI dashboards, and strategic analysis across RNG projects. This dynamic role connects operations, FP&A, M&A and commercial teams to scale the platform and optimize revenue streams.

You will build and maintain models, lead monthly reviews, support bolt-on opportunities, and contribute to ERP and asset integrations, with a hybrid setup in Maine/Arkansas and Texas remote option for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in management consulting, investment banking, or related commercial ops roles.
• Experience with RNG, renewable fuels or energy markets preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and leadership presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operating models for portfolio projects and KPI dashboards.
• Lead monthly operating and financial review cadence with senior teams.
• Oversee environmental credit monetization and revenue compliance for programs.
• Support strategy development for market expansion and bolt-on opportunities.
• Assist with ERP implementation and integration of acquired assets.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor junior analysts.
• Coordinate and review analyst deliverables and ensure repeatable workflows.
