Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. through its Peaks Renewables platform is expanding its Commercial Operations team and seeks an Associate I to drive financial planning, analytics, and strategic growth across RNG projects.

The role collaborates with FP&A, M&A, and operations to scale the portfolio and optimize revenue and compliance. The successful candidate will build models, lead reviews, and support market analyses for new markets and bolt-on opportunities, including ERP implementation and asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering (MBA or CFA a plus).
• 4+ years experience in management consulting, investment banking, commercial operations, energy marketing or trading, corporate or project finance, infrastructure, or private equity investing.
• Experience in RNG, renewable fuels, environmental commodities, natural gas, or power markets preferred.
• Demonstrated experience building and owning financial models and analytical deliverables and presenting to leadership and functional teams

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operating models for portfolio projects and KPI dashboards.
• Run the monthly operating and financial review cadence and prepare presentations for leadership.
• Oversee analysts managing environmental credit monetization and compliance for state and federal programs.
• Support strategy development for the Peaks platform and bolt-on projects like CO2 and fertilizer facilities.
• Support M&A due diligence and integration of acquired assets into Peaks portfolio.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives including ERP implementation and commercial integration.
