Job summary

Peaks Renewables, a growing RNG platform and subsidiary of Summit Utilities, Inc., seeks a Commercial Operations Associate I to manage financial models, KPI dashboards, and cross-functional initiatives. The role supports FP&A, M&A, and commercial operations to scale the portfolio and optimize revenue and compliance.

The position offers hybrid work options for Maine/Arkansas and remote options for Massachusetts or Texas, with a focus on building out commercial infrastructure and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field. MBA/CFA a plus.
• Experience: 4+ years in management consulting, investment banking, commercial operations, energy marketing/trading, finance, infra, or private equity.
• Experience in RNG, renewable fuels, or environmental commodities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operating models and KPI dashboards; automate repeatable processes.
• Lead monthly operating and financial reviews and prepare leadership materials.
• Support strategy for new markets and bolt-on opportunities; evaluate CO2 and co-products.
• Support bolt-on projects (CO2 liquefaction, fertilizer production, etc.).
• Develop and execute commercial function; lead offtake strategy and integration of acquisitions.
• Assist M&A due diligence with offtake contracts and revenue assumptions.
• Coordinate ERP implementation and cross-functional workstreams.
