Job summary

Summit Utilities, through Peaks Renewables, seeks a Commercial Operations Associate I to help build the company’s commercial operations infrastructure and manage financial and operational dashboards for RNG assets.

The role works with senior leaders to scale the platform, supports market analyses, ERP implementation, and integration of acquired assets, and ensures compliant, repeatable processes across finance and operations.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
• At least four years’ experience in management consulting, investment banking, or commercial operations.
• Experience with RNG, renewable fuels, environmental commodities, or power markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operating models for portfolio projects and KPI dashboards.
• Lead monthly operating and financial reviews and present to leadership.
• Oversee environmental credit monetization and revenue compliance for programs.
• Support strategy development, market analyses, and business cases.
• Advance bolt-on projects and OF integration of acquired assets into Peaks’ portfolio.
• Support ERP implementation and cross-functional initiatives.
• Mentor junior analysts and ensure repeatable, documented workflows.
