Job summary

Peaks Renewables is seeking a Commercial Operations Associate I to support the RNG project portfolio, drive revenue optimization, and enable growth through cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, M&A, and operations. The role focuses on building dashboards, financial models, and strategic analyses.

The Associate reports to the Sr. Director and helps scale the platform, support new markets, and implement systems while ensuring compliance with state and federal programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years in management consulting, investment banking, commercial operations, energy marketing or trading, corporate or project finance, infra or PE investing.
• Experience in RNG, renewable fuels, environmental commodities, natural gas, or power markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operating models for portfolio projects and KPI dashboards.
• Run monthly operating and financial reviews and present to leadership.
• Oversee analysts managing environmental credit monetization and revenue compliance.
• Support strategy development for new markets and bolt-on opportunities.
• Support development and execution of bolt-on projects (CO2, fertilizers, etc.).
• Lead cross-functional initiatives such as ERP implementation and asset integration.
