Job summary

Merlin Group is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to design cross-cutting Merlin solutions that integrate partner products across identity, device, network, application, data, analytics, and automation pillars. The role combines technical leadership with commercial instincts for federal use cases and AI-enabled capabilities.

You will work with TPA leads and Merlin Labs to create sellable architectures, narratives, and runbooks, while aligning with federal requirements and helping ISVs map

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity across architecture, engineering, or consulting roles.
• Demonstrated Zero Trust architecture expertise and breadth across security domains.
• Proven ability to design and present architecture diagrams and executive-ready visuals; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience enabling sellers: building narratives, BOMs, visuals, and objection handling for a solution conversation.

Responsibilities

• Design cross-cutting Merlin solutions that map agency requirements to Merlin capabilities.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and produce architecture diagrams and runbooks.
• Own the design and target architecture of Merlin validated solutions and ensure they are sellable.
• Translate product capabilities into mission-aligned value propositions for executive briefings and proposals.
• Mentor engineers and staff on federal frameworks and design patterns; support go-to-market activities.
