Job summary

The Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, IA is seeking an Integration Manager to lead payroll data integrations for our clients and partners. You will design and implement EDI integrations, configure FTP, and handle fixed and CSV formats while ensuring data integrity and secure conversions.

In this role you will mentor teammates, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and drive continuous improvements across the integration function.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience in payroll integrations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced PC skills and proficiency with Excel for data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of new EDI integrations between Principal’s systems and client payroll providers.
• Support ongoing 401(k) 360 integration projects and resolve daily system errors with data integrity.
• Drive proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders; mentor new team members.
• Represent the Integration Team in client and vendor meetings; support cross-functional initiatives.
