Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Implementation Manager - Payroll Integrations to lead client payroll integration implementations within the Client Onboarding organization.

You will translate client payroll data requirements into Merge configuration and map payroll fields to downstream systems. The successful candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing skills, with experience in data mapping, APIs, or payroll technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll integration implementations from requirements gathering through testing and production readiness.
• Partner with clients to understand their payroll systems, data structures, business requirements, and transmission needs.
• Map client payroll fields to the appropriate fields within Merge, ensuring data alignment with downstream requirements.
• Analyze source data and identify mapping gaps, inconsistencies, missing information, or other issues requiring resolution.
• Coordinate configuration, testing, validation, issue resolution, and implementation activities across internal teams and clients.
• Translate technical integration requirements into clear business requirements and explain them to tech and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage multiple implementations simultaneously with governance, documentation, and client communication.
• Apply sound judgment to resolve complex implementation and data issues.
• Partner across Client Onboarding, Product, Engineering, Plan Management and others for successful outcomes.

Role Summary

The Implementation Manager - Payroll Integrations will lead client payroll integration implementations as part of the Client Onboarding organization. The role will focus on understanding client payroll data requirements, translating those requirements into the appropriate integration configuration, and mapping client payroll fields to the required fields within Merge.

The successful candidate will be an experienced implementation professional with strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing skills. Prior equity share plan experience is not required; candidates with transferable implementation, payroll, data, or integration experience are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with APIs, SSO, or equity compensation is helpful but is not required.

• Experience with payroll technology or payroll integrations.
• Financial services, fintech, HR technology, or similar implementation experience.
