Human Interest in the United States is seeking a Sr Manager, Payroll Connection & Integration Support to lead the payroll connection operations teams, mentoring two managers and cross-functional partners across product, engineering, and customer success. The role emphasizes strategic execution, data-driven decisions, and regulatory compliance.

You will drive throughput, optimize payroll integration workflows, manage escalations with external providers, and report to leadership on KPIs and risk

Qualifications

• 4+ years of operational management in fintech or financial services.
• 2+ years of managing other people/leaders.
• Deep understanding of payroll integration workflows and risk controls.
• Proven track record in leading complex operational initiatives.
• Experience leveraging data reports and SLA metrics for strategy.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and build leadership bench strength across 2 Payroll Connection Managers.
• Translate strategy into actionable operational plans for payroll workflows.
• Partner with external payroll providers to manage escalations and root-cause analyses.
• Own metrics for SLA adherence, quality, accuracy, and cycle times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align goals and roadmaps.
• Maintain a rigorous control environment across payroll lifecycles.
• Lead root-cause analyses to implement long-term fixes.
• Identify automation and process improvements to reduce footprint.
• Provide clear executive reporting on operations performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
