Job summary

Human Interest is a fast-growing fintech company helping small and medium-sized businesses offer retirement plans. The Sr Manager, Payroll Connection & Integration Support leads the payroll connection operations, mentoring two managers and cross-functional teams to ensure fast, compliant onboarding and ongoing payroll connectivity for clients and plan participants.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to translate strategy into reliable, scalable payroll

Qualifications

• 4+ years of operational management experience in fintech, financial services, or SaaS.
• 2+ years directly managing other People Managers/Leaders.
• Deep understanding of payroll integration APIs, SFTP, and file feeds.
• Experience leading high-volume payroll connections and integrations.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable operations and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage 2 Payroll Connection Managers and oversee frontline teams.
• Translate high-level strategy into actionable operational execution for payroll connectivity.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align priorities.
• Own high-level metrics for SLA adherence, quality, and cycle times.
• Lead root cause analyses and drive long-term automation and process improvements.
