Job summary

Jobgether seeks an experienced Oracle payroll integrations engineer to design, implement, and maintain end-to-end interfaces between Oracle HCM/Oracle EBS and HRIS, payroll, and finance systems. The role emphasizes data integrity, secure transfers, and scalable middleware using OIC, HDL, BI Publisher, and REST/SOAP APIs.

You will collaborate with Payroll Ops, HRIS, Finance, and Security teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and data privacy while meeting strict

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle Payroll integrations in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Payroll data structures, including PAY* and PY* schemas, with data accuracy and auditability.
• Advanced SQL/PL/SQL skills, including performance tuning and bulk operations.
• Experience with Oracle HCM Extracts, HDL, BI Publisher, and middleware like OIC, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
• Proven ability to implement secure integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, and file-based transfers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.
• Understanding of payroll compliance, SOX, GDPR, and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain payroll integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud/EBS and internal/external systems.
• Analyze and optimize Oracle Payroll data structures to ensure data accuracy and auditability.
• Develop high-performance code in SQL/PL/SQL and possibly Java/Python/JS for data transformations and API orchestration.
• Build payroll interfaces using HDL, OIC, and middleware like MuleSoft or Boomi.
• Implement secure APIs, SFTP pipelines, and event-driven data pipelines with OAuth 2.0 and encryption keys.
• Optimize queries, batch processing, and data handling to support high-volume payroll cycles.
• Implement error-handling, reconciliation, and monitoring for reliable data processing.
• Establish automated testing, reconcile outputs with payroll results and GL postings.
• Enforce security and privacy controls (PII, segregation of duties) and SOX compliance.
• Maintain observability with logs, metrics, alerts, and dashboards (Splunk/ELK/OCI Monitoring).
• Produce technical specs, data dictionaries, and runbooks; promote coding standards and CI/CD.
