McGuireWoods LLP in Washington, DC seeks a Business Development Manager to partner with the Business Development Director and lead lawyers in the Corporate & Private Equity practice and Private Equity Industry group. You will develop clear strategies and business plans and coordinate across offices to pursue revenue opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
• At least 5 years of marketing, business and practice development experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, private equity, or financial sectors.
• Business development-focused event management experience.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal services into compelling marketing content.
• Experience with DealCloud (or another CRM) is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with chairpersons to develop business plans, budgets, and content marketing strategies.
• Lead BD elements for designated departments, pursue new business, and prepare RFPs and pitches.
• Oversee experience management, including collection of deals and matter descriptions.
• Draft and implement BD plans for individuals, departments, and key clients.
• Monitor budgets, trends, and opportunities to drive revenue and cross-selling.
• Coordinate seminars, webinars, and events; manage logistics and attendee outreach.
• Utilize CRM for department and client goals; enable messaging across materials.
