Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in marketing, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of marketing, business development, or practice development in a professional services firm.
• Demonstrated knowledge of corporate, private equity, or financial sectors preferred.
• Business development-focused event management experience.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; translate legal services into marketing content.
• Proficient with CRM systems; DealCloud experience desired.
• Willingness to work with Harvey AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department chairs to develop business plans, budgets, and content marketing strategies.
• Drive BD elements for designated department/teams; pursue new business and retain existing clients.
• Lead on opportunities to pursue new business, prepare RFPs, pitches, and client meetings.
• Spearhead collection of deals and matter descriptions in the experience system.
• Lead client programs; provide reporting and analyze year-over-year trends.
• Coordinate seminars, webinars, receptions, sponsorships, and speaking engagements.
• Mentor junior colleagues and share best practices across disciplines and geographies.
