Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support new business growth. The role requires coordinating daily administrative tasks, handling service requests, and ensuring accurate policy administration and billing.

The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license (CIC preferred) and show strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Active property & casualty (P&C) license required; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Resolve complex issues with accuracy and timely responses
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research and present proposals
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms and ensure data accuracy
