Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an intermediate design engineer with a broad background in environmental site remediation for federal and global private sector clients. Based anywhere in the United States, you’ll design environmental remediation actions and/or remediation systems with support from our global remediation technology team.

You’ll prepare work plans, reports, and design drawings while mentoring others and maintaining Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with environmental remediation technologies, systems or remedial actions.
• 4+ years in environmental remediation; 2+ years designing remediation actions or systems.
• Experience writing specifications, basis of design reports, and design drawings.
• Ability to communicate concisely with team members and work remotely with nationwide teams.
• Based in the United States.
