Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an intermediate design engineer with a broad background in environmental site remediation for federal and global private sector clients. Based anywhere in the United States, you’ll design remediation actions and systems, prepare plans and drawings, and collaborate with a national team.

You’ll be mentored by senior staff while taking ownership of tasks in a hybrid work setup. Ideal candidates have a Civil/Environmental/Geotechnical Engineering degree, an EIT, and 4+ years in

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering is required.
• EIT certification is required; PE license preferred.
• At least 4 years in environmental remediation with project examples.
• At least 2 years designing remediation actions or systems with examples.
• Experience writing specifications, basis of design reports, and design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design environmental remediation actions and remediation systems.
• Prepare work plans, reports, and design drawings.
• Collaborate with nationwide teams and project managers.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance on projects.
