Job summary

AgWest Farm Credit seeks a Relationship Manager I/II to join the Credit Resolution Team in Yuba City or Ventura, CA. The role focuses on timely correction and collection of adversely classified loans, with responsibility for high-quality credit analysis and client negotiations.

Senior duties include loan pricing, collateral valuations, and collaboration with lending and insurance groups to manage risk. Occasional travel up to 15% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent.
• Typically at least two years' progressively complex professional experience in banking or credit.
• Ability to understand and interpret increasingly complex financial statements, loan documents and collateral documents.
• Solid understanding of bankruptcy and foreclosure processes and laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned loan portfolio, primarily adversely classified, ensuring timely servicing and resolution of delinquencies or defaults.
• Analyze and service larger loan relationships with increasing complexity and risk; prepare high-quality credit packages.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support sound credit recommendations and risk management.
• Make quality credit decisions and approve or recommend loan actions within delegated authority.
• Establish valuations of real estate, personal property and other collateral using pricing programs and models.
• Gather financial information and assist in credit investigations, verifications, and customer visits.
