thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator for a hybrid role based in Southfield, MI. You will support the tkMNA Talent Acquisition team across the recruiting lifecycle, coordinating interviews, screening candidates, and ensuring smooth onboarding.

The role requires at least 2 years in recruiting or HR support, strong communication, and proficiency with Workday and MS Office. This is a collaborative position offering growth and visibility with recruiters, HR, and hiring

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR support experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (Workday preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience sourcing candidates through job boards and social media platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates through multiple channels.
• Review resumes, assist with shortlisting, and coordinate next steps for open positions.
• Conduct initial phone screenings using standardized interview guides.
• Maintain ongoing candidate engagement through the hiring process, including initiating first contact and managing communications.
• Manage candidate pipelines and ensure accurate status updates in Workday.
• Schedule interviews by coordinating calendars and sending confirmations.
• Partner with hiring managers to collect interview feedback and keep processes moving.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting documentation.
• Create and submit requisition requests within Workday.
• Assist with temporary-to-permanent employee conversions.
• Support drug screens and background check processes.
• Help coordinate onboarding milestones and Workday activities.
