Job summary

Alfred Benesch & Company seeks a Railroad Track & Civil Review/Design Engineer to join the Public Projects Civil/Track Design Review team. You will work with project managers and engineers to review plans, design track and civil elements, and perform site inspections on freight and commuter rail projects.

The role requires 2–5 years of railroad design or plan review experience, proficiency in MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRail, and the ability to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Civil Engineering design or plan review experience for railroad projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Experience using MicroStation and InRoads and/or OpenRail designer.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Public Project Plan reviews and design projects.
• Perform site inspections and develop track and civil design plans.
• Review design plans and cost estimates with Project Managers and Engineers.
