Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Specialist II to support our Program Management marketing team on pursuits, including expressions of interest (EOI), RFQ, RFP, and pre-qualification efforts. This hybrid position can be based in Arlington, VA or nearby locations.

You will manage RFQ/RFP responses, help develop win themes, coordinate content and graphics, and ensure compliance with client requirements. Strong writing, editing, and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 2 years of experience collaborating within a marketing team to lead and support proposal/marketing activity within the AEC industry or equivalency
• Proficient in Word processing (Word), spreadsheet (Excel), and presentation (PowerPoint)
• Desktop publishing software (Adobe Creative Suite) and graphics programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop)
• Knowledge of marketing best practices, processes, and tools
• Experience with collaborative tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint
• Ability to write, edit, and coordinate proposal materials with discretion and reliability
• Strong organizational and administrative skills and task leadership ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to edit proposal materials

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing responses to RFQ and RFP across multiple disciplines within Program Management
• Leads and/or participates in proposal strategy development and planning with capture teams and win plan themes
• Develop proposal outlines and schedule and manage them for compliance
• Run proposal project team meetings and manage revisions based on review direction
• Coordinate with project team to gather materials and write, edit, and coordinate content for proposals
• Coordinate with graphics team to produce organization charts, maps, flow charts, and matrices
• Coordinate with subconsultants to obtain marketing materials for submissions
• Perform QA/QC on proposal materials for consistency and grammar
• Perform final layout in InDesign and produce hard copies if required
