Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Specialist II to support the Program Management marketing team on formal and informal client pursuits, including EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, and pre-qualifications. This hybrid role can be based in Arlington, VA or surrounding MD/PA areas.

The ideal candidate will manage multi-discipline RFQ/RFP responses, lead proposal strategy with capture teams, ensure timelines and compliance, coordinate graphics, and perform final layout using InDesign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years in marketing or proposal work.
• Strong writing/editing abilities with attention to grammar and style.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience coordinating RFQ/RFP responses across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to work independently and with teams; excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Teams, SharePoint and CRM/Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage responses to RFQ and RFP across disciplines.
• Lead proposal strategy development with capture teams.
• Develop outlines and timelines to ensure compliance.
• Run review meetings and coordinate revisions.
• Gather materials and write/edit proposal content.
• Coordinate graphics with the graphics team.
• Coordinate with subconsultants for marketing materials.
• Perform quality assurance on proposal materials.
• Handle final layout in InDesign and hard copy production if needed.
