Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Specialist II to support the Program Management marketing team on pursuits including RFQ/RFP responses and related proposals. Hybrid work options are available in Arlington, VA and nearby locations. You will coordinate content, lead strategy with capture teams, and ensure compliance across multiple disciplines.

The role emphasizes writing, editing, and coordinating marketing materials, with InDesign layout and QA responsibilities, at a detailed and collaborative level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading and supporting proposal/marketing activity in AEC.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and desktop publishing tools.
• Knowledge of marketing best practices and CRM tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage responses to RFQ and RFP across disciplines.
• Lead proposal strategy development with capture teams.
• Develop outlines and schedules to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate graphics and subconsultant materials.
• Perform quality assurance on proposal content.
• Prepare final layouts in InDesign and print if required.
