Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Specialist II to support our Program Management marketing team in pursuing client opportunities, including EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, and pre-qualifications.

This hybrid role, based in the United States (Arlington, VA or nearby markets), involves coordinating responses, leading proposal strategy, developing outlines, and ensuring compliance with client requirements across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 2 years experience in marketing/proposal activities within AEC industry or equivalent.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator/Acrobat/Photoshop).
• Knowledge of marketing best practices, processes and tools.
• Experience with collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
• Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
• Proven organizational and administrative skills, including managing documents and leading deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage responses to RFQ and RFP across multiple disciplines within Program Management.
• Lead proposal strategy development and planning with capture teams and apply win plan, themes, and discriminators.
• Develop proposal outlines and schedule and manage them for compliance.
• Run proposal project team/review meetings and manage revisions.
• Gathermaterials from project teams and write/edit proposal content ensuring client requirements.
• Coordinate graphics (organization charts, maps, flow charts, matrices) with graphics team.
• Coordinate with subconsultants to obtain marketing materials for submissions.
• Perform QA/QC on proposal materials with attention to consistency and detail.
• Execute final layout in InDesign and produce hard copies if required.
