Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Specialist II to support our Program Management marketing team on pursuits, including formal and informal responses to client solicitations (EOI, RFQ, RFP) and pre-qualification efforts. This hybrid role can be based in Arlington, VA; Annapolis Junction, MD; Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities include managing RFQ/RFP responses, leading proposal strategy, developing outlines, coordinating graphics, and coordinating with subconsultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 2 years of experience in marketing/proposals in AEC or equivalent.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and desktop publishing tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop).
• Knowledge of marketing best practices and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint).
• Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to write/edit proposal materials.

Responsibilities

• Manage responses to RFQ and RFP across multiple disciplines within Program Management.
• Lead proposal strategy development and win plan application with capture teams.
• Develop proposal outlines and schedules and manage them for compliance.
• Run proposal team meetings and manage revisions based on review direction.
• Gather materials, write/edit and coordinate proposal content for client requirements.
• Coordinate graphics (org charts, maps, flow charts, matrices) with graphics team.
• Coordinate with subconsultants to request/collect marketing materials.
• QA/QC on proposal/marketing materials for grammar, consistency and detail.
• Perform final layout in InDesign and produce hard copies if required.
