The ideal candidate has strong project management discipline, experience in electronics manufacturing, and proven ability to deliver on schedule and budget while managing risks and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Leads NPD or Sustaining project teams.
• Assists other Project Managers in managing large scale NPD projects.
• Leads or assists in planning and execution of development projects, from initiation to production release with focus on hardware development, test, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
• Suggests improvements to the New Product Development Process.
• Creates project plans, confirms timescales, costs and resources.
• Manages risk and communicates milestones and timelines to management.
• Negotiate with and manage contractors for services as required.
• Ensure development teams meet interim and final deliverables.
• Present project status to senior management, including risks and mitigation plans.
• Implement product development process improvements.
