Job summary

Revelyst Outdoor in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineering Project Manager to lead hardware programs across launch monitors, rangefinders, and wearables. You will own the plan from concept through EVT/DVT/PVT to mass production, coordinating electrical, mechanical, firmware, and industrial design teams.

This role requires 7+ years in hardware PM, proven track record shipping consumer electronics, and strong communication with executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years as a PM/PM leading hardware product development with EVT/DVT/PVT/MP.
• Experience shipping consumer electronics or precision hardware.
• Knowledge of PCB design, BOM management, and reliability testing.
• Experience with overseas suppliers and on-site build support in Asia.
• Strong executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hardware program plans from concept to mass production.
• Lead weekly cross-functional build and design reviews.
• Develop integrated master schedules with engineering leads.
• Manage contracts with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Lead ramp planning with Supply Chain and Operations.
• Track budget and BOM costs against targets.
• Own risk management with mitigation plans.
• Coordinate compliance and regulatory testing (FCC, CE, UL, IC).
• Communicate status and decisions to leadership via reviews.
• Travel to contract manufacturers and supplier sites as needed.
• Continuously improve PM processes and stage-gate criteria.
