Job summary

BOA Technology in Denver is seeking a Project Engineer to lead mid-complex New Product Development from concept to production, acting as the technical leader and project manager. You will guide cross-disciplinary teams through the complete product development process, ensuring on-time delivery and manufacturability.

The role involves coordinating with Design Engineering, Industrial Design, Prototyping, Testing, and stakeholders across the globe, with a hybrid Denver-based schedule and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (must-have).
• 2+ years' experience in project management of new product development.
• 3+ years of product development experience.
• Experience with mechanism or part design.
• CAD experience (SolidWorks, OnShape) with 3D evaluation.
• Hands-on lab or field testing experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid-Complexity New Product Development projects (Level 3 and below).
• Develop project plans and obtain approvals.
• Drive product development within our framework and pursue improvements.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams including Design Eng., Industrial Design, Prototyping, and Testing.
• Manage project master schedules and resource allocation.
• Coordinate deliverables with Commercial and Marketing.
• Communicate with stakeholders, vendors, and contract manufacturers.
• Support design reviews focusing on manufacturability and function.
• Oversee internal testing and data analysis for projects.
• Assist tooling construction in Asia and production ramp-up.
