Allegion is seeking a Project Manager for New Product Development in Carmel, IN-Colorado Springs, CO (Hybrid). The role leads multi-location teams through a structured development process for mechanical and/or electronic products.

Qualified candidates must be US authorized; hybrid details vary by team and business needs. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, risk management, and meeting scope, time and cost goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in new product development programs from concept to production using a structured process.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Tenacity in coordination of project team members to achieve program timelines and outcomes.
• Self-starter with a desire to make a significant impact on the project execution.
• Courage to raise issues to upper management when a program is at risk.
• Good understanding of consumer products, software, and hardware development.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including project management software.

Responsibilities

• Capture product requirements, scope and success metrics with Product Managers and Senior Program Managers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to establish development strategy, schedule, product costs, budget and resources.
• Establish execution plan and track progress, risks and issues to keep programs on schedule and within budget.
• Escalate issues and mitigation recommendations to upper management.
• Resolve people and team dynamic issues for effective program performance.
• Coordinate interdependencies with other projects as needed.
• Schedule and lead status review meetings and formal project reviews with Senior Management.
• Travel up to 20%.
