Job summary

Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana is seeking a Project Analyst to support planning, implementation, and documentation of department projects. The role includes developing training materials, coordinating licensing for agents, and preparing GEO mapping reports for RFPs and existing business.

You will participate in performance improvement activities, maintain templates, and assist with monthly reporting and responses to information requests.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business administration or related field with four years of experience processing customer information or inquiries.
• Knowledge of the claims processing system; knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications; strong verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to analyze and solve problems using independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with planning and implementing department projects.
• Participates in creating and maintaining custom group documentation for the department.
• Participates in the performance improvement process.
• Assists in the development of training materials and schedules and may conduct training regarding departmental processes.
• Participates in administering licensing information and commissions for agents and agencies that have business relationships with the organization, as needed.
• Assists in the coordination of written responses to group requests for information and other inquiries as part of the new business or renewal process. Maintains document language, departmental letter and form templates.
• Assembles and distributes GEO mapping reports for the organization for existing and new business and for RFP requests.
• May assist with the monthly Sales Report.
• Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.
