Job summary

Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana is seeking a Risk and Issue Management Analyst in Okemos, MI for a hybrid role focused on due diligence for Problem Reports and CAPs to ensure effective, sustainable solutions. You will coordinate with Compliance, Operations, and IT to address root causes and align actions with regulatory and client expectations.

You will monitor remediation, provide updates to leadership, maintain records, and support audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of auditing, quality monitoring, risk management, or operations experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with insurance products, claims or service processes, and regulatory frameworks (CMS/Medicare Advantage) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate problem resolution from identification to remediation and prevention.
• Analyze root causes and recommend systemic improvements to reduce risk and cost.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and IT to ensure CAPs are measurable.
• Track CAP progress, confirm completion and effectiveness, and report to leadership.
• Provide status updates to meet internal and external due dates.
