Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance required.
• Associate degree with relevant experience also considered.
• 0–2+ years in project billing is preferred.
• Experience in A/E/C industry preferred.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up new projects and tasks in the accounting software.
• Verify project setups comply with contracts.
• Prepare and draft invoices with project managers.
• Handle various contract billing types including time and materials, cost plus, lump sum, and fixed unit terms.
• Match expenses to labor charges and finalize invoices.
• Provide reports to project managers on financial health.
• Assist collections and respond to client inquiries as needed.
• Digitally file invoices and backups.
