Job summary

Institute for Experiential Jewish Education is seeking a Program Coordinator to act as the operational backbone of our learning experiences. You will manage logistics, materials, vendors, and support participants across in-person and virtual programs.

Reporting to the Senior Program Director, this role emphasizes organization, follow-through, and attention to detail, with travel and hybrid work from the Chicago area. Join a mission-driven nonprofit focused on high-quality Jewish education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in event coordination, project management, or customer-facing operations (nonprofit preferred).
• Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional client-facing demeanor.
• Comfort with technology; experience with Salesforce, Monday.com, Campaign Monitor, Canva or similar.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all program logistics for in-person and virtual programs.
• Manage materials lifecycle: sourcing, tracking, printing, packaging, shipping.
• Oversee vendor relations (catering, A/V, travel, accommodations) for programs.
• Lead North American Zoom webinars and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Coordinate Salesforce and Campaign Monitor activities for programs; manage data.
• Track inventory and maintain program supplies and storage.
• Provide on-site logistical support and participant-friendly experiences.
• Office operations support for Chicago area, including office supply management.
