Job summary

Serco is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to join our fast-paced team to manage full life-cycle program finances. The role requires multitasking, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with financial systems and data warehouses.

You will support routine financial analyses, EACs and customer deliverables, with a focus on accurate cost, schedule and revenue reporting. The position offers a hybrid schedule out of our San Diego, CA office, with potential for telework for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
• Knowledge of government contracting regulations and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers.
• Support accounts receivable during billing processing and provide invoice backup as needed.
• Monitor billing status and unbilled issues and resolve with Contracts, Accounting and PMO.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor accruals in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
• Support monthly business rhythms and participate in program reviews.
• Administer program control per GAAP, policies and government regulations.
• Complete finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition per contract terms.
