Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 100% remote role to support government programs with rigorous financial management and accountability.

You will work with the DOAR BU Program Finance Team to oversee full life-cycle program finances and develop time-phased budgets, forecasts, and EACs. The ideal candidate has expert Excel skills, familiarity with financial systems and data warehouses, and a bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years in a related field.
• Knowledge of government contracting regulations and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis for Program Managers.
• Support billing processes, including accounts receivable and invoicing backups.
• Monitor billing status and resolve unbilled issues with Contracts and PMO.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor accruals per GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
• Support monthly program and finance rhythms and participate in reviews.
• Administer program control in line with GAAP and corporate policies.
• Prepare finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition.
• Liaise between operations and administrative teams on financial issues.
