Job summary

Serco is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to join a fast-paced team, providing full life-cycle program finances, including EACs and project deliverables. The hybrid role is based in our San Diego office and may allow telework for the right candidate.

You will handle cost/schedule planning, billing support, accruals, and GAAP/IFRS compliant reporting while collaborating across Contracts, Accounting and PMO to drive timely financial insights and accuracy.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related professional experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and government contracting basics.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and manage deadlines.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis for Programs including WBS, BOEs and time-phased budgets/EACs.
• Support accounts receivable during billing processing and provide invoice backup as needed.
• Monitor billing status and unbilled issues with Contracts, Accounting and PMO.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor accruals as services are received and reported.
• Assist monthly program and finance rhythms, attend reviews and meetings.
• Administer program control in line with accounting principles and policies.
• Prepare finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition in line with contractual terms.
• Liaise between operations and admin support on financial issues; interface with vendors/customers.
