Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the DOAR BU Program Finance Team. This 100% remote role focuses on full life-cycle program finances, cost planning, and reporting for government programs.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting and at least 2 years of related experience, with advanced Excel and GAAP/IFRS knowledge. U.S. citizenship is required. The position supports multiple contract types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, and reporting skills.
• Ability to apply GAAP/IFRS and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting and analysis to Program Managers (WBS, BOEs, budgets)
• Support AR and invoicing backups as needed
• Monitor billing status and resolve unbilled issues with Contracts, Accounting and PMO
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor accruals to ensure costs are captured accurately
• Support monthly program and finance rhythms and participate in reviews
• Administer program control per GAAP, policies and regulations
• Prepare finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition
• Liaise with operations, subcontractors, vendors and customers on financial issues
