Job summary

Serco Inc. in San Diego, CA, seeks a Program Finance Analyst to manage full life-cycle program finances in a hybrid work setup. You will perform cost, schedule, and funding planning, prepare budgets and EACs, and support invoicing and revenue recognition across multiple projects.

You will leverage advanced Excel skills, financial systems, and data warehouses while collaborating with PMO, Contracts, and Accounting to drive accurate reporting and timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of general and corporate business practices and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis for programs.
• Support Accounts Receivable during billing and provide invoice backup when required.
• Monitor billing status and unbilled issues, coordinating with Contracts, Accounting and PMO.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor accruals in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and policies.
• Support monthly business rhythms and program reviews.
• Administer program control per accounting standards and policies.
• Complete finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition.
• Liaise between operations and administrative support on financial issues.
• Interface with subcontractors, vendors and customers as required.
