GovCIO is seeking a Program Director to manage a portfolio of federal IT contracts. The role is located in Quantico, VA and is a hybrid position with on-site majority.

You will direct all phases of programs, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance, and lead program reviews with the customer. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of operations and program management experience in federal contracting, PMP certification, and strong leadership and communication skills to engage

Qualifications

• 15+ years of operations, portfolio, and program management experience in federal government contracting.
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring multiple Program Managers and conducting program management reviews.
• Experience communicating effectively with internal executive leadership and executive-level government customers.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
• Participates in contract negotiations and changes.
• Prepares proposals, budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts; acts as primary customer contact.
• Directs work of staff from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
