Job summary

SAIC in Reston, VA seeks an experienced Program Management Director to lead a large-scale Federal IT services program, including GAO contracts and finance/government initiatives.

You will manage a 50+ person, multi-disciplinary team, drive agile SAFe execution, and oversee on-premise and cloud-based services with SLA/XLA metrics, while interfacing with GAO IT leadership and other federal agencies to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, CS, Business or related field.
• 18+ years of related experience in complex IT environments.
• 10+ years managing large, multi-disciplinary IT operations (50+ personnel).
• 5+ years managing programs of large federal IT service contracts.
• Experience in SAFe environments and agile execution.
• Experience with on-premise and cloud-based service delivery, with SLAs/XLA metrics.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary Government liaison and single point of contact for contract matters.
• Provide strategic direction and day-to-day oversight for 50+ personnel across multiple disciplines.
• Ensure quality, efficiency, and timeliness of contract deliverables and operations.
• Oversee complex IT environments with diverse databases, networks, and subsystems.
• Lead SAFe program execution across all workstreams and teams.
• Manage cloud-based service delivery and enforce performance metrics.
• Collaborate with GAO IT leadership and federal agencies to align services.
• Negotiate contracts and identify cost-effective IT solutions for the Government.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate contractual, technical, or programmatic risks.
