Job summary

OpsFi seeks a Product Owner/Associate PM to lead backlog, user stories, and sprint planning for a growing InsurTech platform. You will bridge executive goals with engineering, QA, and operations, translating business needs into actionable specs and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner, Technical BA, or Associate Product Manager in a modern software environment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and backlog management tools.
• Ability to define technical feature specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of web platform architecture, API integrations, and data-driven software.
• Highly organized, decisive, and structured with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Backlog & Sprint Management: maintain, refine, and prioritize the product backlog for upcoming sprints.
• Requirements & Acceptance Criteria: translate business requirements into detailed user stories and specs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: act as the bridge between leadership, engineering, QA, and operations.
• Feature Validation & UAT: partner with QA to ensure features meet requirements before release.
• Workflow & Platform Enhancement: identify opportunities for automation and improved UX through API integrations.
